Accept Direct Debit payments the easy way with Workwise & GoCardless

Up until now Direct Debit payments have been out of reach of most small businesses, with expensive set up fees, confusing payment information submission and a very 'offline' process (usually involving paper Direct Debit mandate forms and emailing spreadsheets of billing data!) - not any more.  Enter GoCardless, a London based payment services provider that enable any business, large or small, to collect payments from their customers via Direct Debit.

Not only is there no setup charge and no monthly charges the transaction charge is just 1% (up to a maximum - yes maximum - of £2).  

Collecting payments via Direct Debit is now not only affordable to any business it's actually more cost effective than accepting payments from credit or debit card customers in most cases.

We've applied for Fund101 funding from Enterprise Nation, and our application has been accepted! Now we just need to get 500 votes to get our grant which, if we reach the target, we'll be using to further market Workwise!

While Workwise has international support (for date formats and currencies) our main focus is the UK, after all we're based here so it just makes sense!

We guarantee never to outsource development or technical support outside of the UK and that our primary goal is to be the best​ customer management and billing solution available.

Workwise has been in development for a long time, the earliest version existed in 2001 (see our about us page for more of the history behind Workwise) back when there wasn't really a UK specific (and web based) solution that did what was wanted at the time. So although we're a new player in what is a pretty crowded market we've got a deep understanding of what it's like to be a UK small business and we want to develop Workwise further, into a solution that can meet the needs of any business, large or small!

Developer Chris on the Mark O'Donnell Show

Today Workwise's lead developer (and business Owner) Chris was interviewed on the Mark O'Donnell show on BBC Wiltshire Radio.  Chris spoke about how bank's still aren't doing enough to help new small and medium businesses (such as Workwise Business Systems) and that starting up is challenging enough without the added stress of having to battle against banks to start your business.
