Feature updates in Workwise 1.5.4

We rolled out Workwise version 1.5.4 (and 1.5.4.1) today - in additional to some minor style changes (including making Open Sans the default font to improve readability and consistency across operating systems) we've also made the following changes/improvements of note as a result of customer feedback:

Watch out for tax refund scam emails!

It's the start of the new financial year and that means that the email scam emails switch from pretending to be from diplomats and foreign bankers to something a little easier to be fooled by.

Over the past week we've received a number of scam emails claiming to be from HMRC asking for information to process tax refund.  The email has a form attached that asks for personal information along with credit card details "to enable the refund to be processed".

As always, any email that you're not expecting and that claims to be from a government department, multi-national institution, bank, or for that matter anyone who wants to give you money for nothing should be treated with skepticism.

New SMS Integration - ClockworkSMS

After a weekend of development we're really pleased to be able to offer ClockworkSMS as an additional choice to Workwise users when it comes to sending SMS text messages.

Previously we only supported iTAGG for outbound SMS, but we'd been asked a few times about integrating with a simpler service for customer who just want to pay for messages sent and not have to pay yearly fees.  

Enter ClockworkSMS, a nice simple solution to sending SMS

At 5p per message with no subscription or admin fees ClockworkSMS can be set up in minutes (sign up via their website and get your API key in no time at all)

You can top-up your ClockworkSMS account via credit card, debit card or Paypal.

Interface changes and fixes in Workwise 1.5.3
